Latest DVV1 Rule Change for Net Branding
4.5 cm mesh nets without DVV1 certificate
German Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL)
In the 1st and 2nd league it is still possible to use a net with 4.5 cm mesh size, provided it has additional branding on the mesh.
For nets with 4.5 cm mesh “without” mesh branding, no DVV inspection mark is issued. Exceptions for nets with mesh branding are still possible and are noted on the respective hall ID cards.
DVV – German Volleyball Association
Clubs and teams not playing in the 1st or 2nd league should request an appropriate exception from their respective regional league.
We are happy to create a drawing with your sponsor in advance for submission to the relevant association.
Mesh branding
As with our printed beach volleyball nets, volleyball nets without a DVV1 seal can be produced with branding on both sides.
Details and benefits
A separate logo is possible on each side—ideal if two sponsors want to share the cost.
Only a small weight increase of about 100 g to 200 g, depending on logo size.
We do not use digital printers or airbrush systems. A simple coat of paint is not as opaque as a fiber coating.
For the volleyball net we recommend a single-sided net branding that is then used on both sides of the net. This makes it possible to apply a logo readable on both sides of the net, or to use different logos on each side.
With the “old” technique, the coating appears mirrored on the back of the net.
