Ahead of the press coverage, some fans had expressed concerns that the net branding could impair their view of the rink.

After the first game, however, these worries proved unfounded: all fans behind the nets reported that their view remained unobstructed. The design is carefully aligned with the rink and camera perspectives. As a result, there is no distracting element in this area—on the contrary: the net branding fits harmoniously into the overall arena look and is seen by many as an enhancement.

Puck-catching nets with advertising,

A strong advertising presence with net branding

Net branding offers an eye-catching yet elegant way to place advertising. This exclusive form of presentation is not only technically mature, it’s also unique in its impact. One example: our customer BP is delighted with the visibility and presence in EV Zug’s BOSSARD Arena. The branding blends seamlessly into the arena visuals and creates strong impact—for sponsor, club and fans alike.

Our innovation

There are clear differences between a NetzVertising net branding and conventional color printing—especially in visibility.

NetzVertising delivers a clearer, more attention-grabbing presence and gives sponsors a strong, convincing appearance. Sponsors invest significantly in their public image and therefore have a legitimate interest in maximum visibility. With NetzVertising, this can be achieved reliably and effectively—conventional solutions often fall short in comparison.

Options and limitations

Because safety nets have mesh, fine details or small lettering can partially “fall through the mesh” when printed.

Not every club logo or motif is suitable for printing on an ice hockey safety net without adjustment. We’ll be happy to advise you and show possible implementations using high-quality mockups, so you get a realistic impression of the final result in advance.

Please send us your desired motif as vector artwork (e.g., SVG, EPS or PDF). Based on this, we create a tailored mockup and provide an individual quote. Helpful, high-quality photos of your arena or venue also support an optimal implementation.

Why we always create a design mockup

Not every logo is suitable for a net structure. Due to the mesh openings, fine details like the dot on an “i” can fall through and disappear from the lettering.

✓ Ideal for nets

  • Bold, easily readable fonts
  • Distinctive logos with clear shapes
  • Sufficiently large elements

✗ Less suitable

  • Fine details and thin lines
  • Very small fonts or symbols

Sometimes small adjustments—like a slightly thicker line or an enlarged detail—are enough without visibly changing the corporate design.

Send us your logo as a vector file—we’ll create a free preview showing how your branding will look on the ice hockey puck-catching net.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Since we sell and ship nets for a wide variety of sports, leagues, and countries worldwide, we cannot be familiar with all specific rules – especially as they change frequently. We therefore ask you to independently check the currently applicable requirements (e.g., regarding logo sizes or distances) in your respective rulebook or with your governing body. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the branding complies with the relevant regulations.

Yes, due to the one-sided coating, the back of the thread remains color-free. However, if you look through the net at a very sharp angle, the coating becomes slightly noticeable – although at this angle the mesh hole narrows optically anyway.

Since net brandings often reach enormous dimensions, the logo must be able to be enlarged without loss of quality. Only vector data offers this flexibility without the quality suffering during scaling.

Each net is custom-made, but the dimensions depend on technical factors such as mesh size, thread thickness, and material. Each order is individually checked for its feasibility and the effort is calculated individually.
